Welcome to The 14th International Meeting on Advances in Thermofluids (IMAT) 2026, hosted by the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia, and co-hosted by Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). IMAT is an international conference that brings together academicians, researchers, scientists, engineers, and industry professionals from around the world to exchange ideas, share research findings, and foster collaboration in the fields of thermofluids and related engineering disciplines.

Under the theme “Advancing Thermofluid Technologies for Sustainable Energy and Industrial Innovation” IMAT 2026 provides an international platform to discuss recent developments and emerging technologies in fluid mechanics, heat transfer, thermodynamics, combustion, and other thermal-fluid-related fields. The conference encourages interdisciplinary collaboration and promotes innovative solutions to address global challenges in sustainable energy, industrial development, and engineering.

Building upon the success of previous IMAT conferences, IMAT 2026 aims to strengthen international collaboration between academia, research institutions, and industry while supporting the dissemination of high-quality scientific research. The conference offers valuable opportunities for participants to expand professional networks, exchange knowledge, and explore future research directions that contribute to technological advancement and sustainable development. The 14th International Meeting on Advances in Thermofluids (IMAT) 2026 will be held on 10–11 December 2026 at the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia, and will be conducted in a hybrid format, allowing both in-person and virtual participation from around the world.
