The 4th International Conference on Applied Industrial Engineering focuses on the key role of technology and innovation in addressing the challenges of green engineering, promoting sustainable development through efficient and responsible processes. From an industrial engineering perspective, the use of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, data analytics, automation, and sustainable energy systems enables the optimization of production, reduces environmental impact, and strengthens competitiveness. This approach drives the transition to circular economies, renewable energy, and strategic environmental management, integrating economic growth, social responsibility, and environmental sustainability as the foundation for the future of industry and society.

Shipping Guidelines

All submissions must be original and must not have been submitted simultaneously to another journal or conference.

The topics are related to those described below:

1. Technological innovation and digital transformation for sustainability.

• Application of Artificial Intelligence and Big Data in the optimization of sustainable processes.
• Industry 4.0 and intelligent automation for energy efficiency and waste reduction.
• Digital transformation in organizations: sustainable business models and circular economy.

2. Clean energy and environmental governance.

• Integration of renewable energies (solar, wind, biomass) into industrial production systems.
• Public policies and regulatory frameworks for environmental management and sustainable development.
• Environmental impact assessment and climate change mitigation strategies in industry.

3. Education and knowledge transfer for green engineering.

• Innovation in educational methodologies for training in sustainable engineering.
• Collaborations between universities and industry for the transfer of ecological technology and knowledge.
• Development of professional skills in sustainability and environmental responsibility.

The deadline for submitting papers is July 31, 2026, using the EasyChair article submission system (you will find the link at the top of the page).

Decisions regarding acceptance or rejection will be communicated between July 31 and August 31, 2026.
