The 15th International Conference of Educational Innovation through Technology
(EITT2026)

The 15th International Conference on Educational Innovation through Technology (EITT2026), organized by the Society of International Chinese in Educational Technology (SICET), aims to serve as an international platform for scholars and practitioners in education and technology to share and present new research findings and exchange insights and experiences on related topics.
EITT2026 will will be held at South China Normal University, Guangzhou, China, on December 19-20, 2026. The conference warmly welcomes researchers, educators, edtech practitioners, and policymakers from around the world to examine how emerging technologies, including AI, educational robotics, VR/AR /MR, neurotechnology, are transforming education. Participants are invited to contribute presentations that showcase their expertise, research, and innovative practices, and to engage with an international community of academics and professionals from diverse disciplines.
Since its launch in 2012, the EITT conference series has been successfully hosted in many locations worldwide: Beijing, China (2012); Williamsburg, Virginia, USA (2013); Brisbane, Australia (2014); Wuhan, China (2015); Tainan (2016); Osaka, Japan (2017); Auckland, New Zealand (2018); Biloxi, Mississippi, USA (2019); virtually in 2020, 2021, and 2022 due to the COVID-19 pandemic; Fujian, P.R. China (2023); Macau, P.R. China (2024); and Tokyo, Japan (2025).
Established in 2003, SICET is a non-political, non-profit academic organization. Its mission is to foster and strengthen international academic exchange, research collaboration, and scholarly communication in the field of educational technology, to advocate for the effective use of technology in education, and to promote global cooperation among its members and the wider scholarly community.
EITT2026 Conference Theme:
Human-AI Synergy for Educational Innovation: Dialogue Across Contexts, Cultures, and Communities
Under the theme “Human-AI Synergy for Educational Innovation: Dialogue Across Contexts, Cultures, and Communities”, EITT2026 seeks to stimulate critical dialogue, highlight innovative research and practice, and promote interdisciplinary collaboration among scholars, educators, technologists, and policymakers.

Conference Registration:
Please note that only papers with at least one author registered to attend the conference will be included in the EITT 2026 Proceedings, or recommended for publication in one of the three journals: International Journal of Technology in Teaching and Learning (IJTTL), the Journal of Educational Technology Development and Exchange (JETDE), or Future in Educational Research (FER) (subject to revision in accordance with each journal’s requirements; please refer to the official websites of the respective journals for detailed guidelines). The registration fee is:
· US$480 for the first participant of a paper, and US$200 for each additional participant.
· US$200 for participants who give a presentation at the conference without paper publication.

2. If you do not have a SICET account, please first go to Join us and select How to become a member. Then choose Create a new account, fill in your information, and wait for approval. Once approved, you can log in to your SICET account and proceed with the conference registration.
Submission of Papers:
A paper should be prepared according to the proceedings’ template, which can be found here: conference-paper-template. It must be 4-6 pages in length, including an abstract, references, and tables/figures. Submissions should represent original and substantive research results. We will not accept any paper which, at the time of submission, is under review for or has already been published (or accepted for publication) in another conference or journal. Authors should submit their manuscripts in PDF format to EITT2026 via the EasyChair submission system (to be updated). Each paper submitted to EITT2026 will be double-blind reviewed based on its originality, significance, technical soundness, and quality of writing.
Presentation Formats:
Accepted submissions will be scheduled in different presentation formats. A regular oral presentation is expected to be 10–13 minutes, including Q&A. Some accepted papers may be assigned to the poster session. The conference will also feature keynote talks and roundtable discussions.
Publication Information:
The proceedings of EITT2026 will collect selected papers through a standard peer-review process. Only papers that are presented by an author at the conference will be included in the conference proceedings (*the registered papers of this conference will be included in the conference proceedings and will be submitted for possible inclusion into Springer. Final publication will be subject to the manuscript review by Springer. Springer CCIS is abstracted/indexed in DBLP, Google Scholar, EI-Compendex, Mathematical Reviews, SCImago, and Scopus), or published in the International Journal of Technology in Teaching and Learning (IJTTL), the Journal of Educational Technology Development and Exchange (JETDE), or Future in Educational Research (FER) (*selected registered papers will be recommended and invited to publish an extended version in these three journals, subject to revision according to the requirements of each journal).
