RELIEVE 2025: Energy and Environment
RELIEVE 2025 is the main event that the Latin American Network for Research in Energy and Vehicles (RELIEVE) carries out in 2025

VI International Conference on Energy and Environment RELIEVE 2025
In order to promote the research and technological development projects aimed at increasing energy efficiency, especially in vehicles and transportation sector, we have given continuity to the traditional International Congress on Energy and Environment organized by RELIEVE. This conference is intended for students, researchers, and companies. It look forward to disseminate and comunicate to the society the scientific, technological and social results. It includes:
- Oral presentations
- Competition for best technical presentation.
- Competition for best poster presentation.
The best papers will be or will receive support to be published in the following journals where RELIEVE has collaboration agreements and/or conference where RELIEVE participates as co-organizer.

Submission guideliness
Abstract In the first instance, you must send a short abstract (<1 page) that includes: title, authors, institutions, summary and keywords. You will then receive an invitation to send an extended abstract or full paper for presentation at our International Conference on Energy and Environement
Abstracts must be submitted following a standardized format and should include the following elements: title, author names, institutional affiliations, a brief background or context of the research, objectives of the study, methodology, key results, main conclusions, and a list of relevant keywords. This concise summary should provide reviewers with a clear overview of the research, its scientific contribution, and its potential impact in the field.
Full papers must be submitted in digital format (PDF) through the paper submission page. Papers must be written in English or Spanish. The maximum length is six (6) pages per article including illustrations and references. Each paper should indicate appropriateness for the scope of the Conference, originality and quality of the technical content, whole organization and writing style.
For each accepted paper, at least one of the authors must register and present the paper at VI International Conference on Energy and Environment RELIEVE 2025
Posters should highlight research results from current projects related to the conference themes. Organizers invite projects that submit an abstract or full paper to the congress to present posters.
There is no any mandatory template for posters, the suggested size for your poster is A1 (594 x 841 mm or 23.4 x 33.1 inches)
In-person presentations will be accepted and only RELIEVE members will have the option to present in a hybrid and/or virtual way. Link to virtual presentation will be provided to authors days prior to the session.
Assessment
Oral presentations, as well as manuscripts, will be thoroughly evaluated by distinguished faculty researchers and experts in the field, all of whom are active members of RELIEVE, ensuring a comprehensive assessment of the work's scientific merit and contribution.
Both the manuscripts and the oral presentations will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
- For the paper: clarity and structure, originality and contribution to the field, literature review, methodology, analysis, results, and conclusions.
- For the oral presentation: clarity of communication, the ability to engage the audience, organization of content, visual aids (e.g., slides), the speaker's ability to effectively address questions from the audience, as well as the preliminary evaluation of the contribution, impact, and potential for publication of the work.

RELIEVE is the Latin American Research Network on Energy and Vehicles (RELIEVE), included since 2020 to the Ibero-American Program of Science and Technology for Development (CYTED). RELIEVE's objective is to contribute to the generation and strengthening of capacities in LATAM to provide technical support and follow up to local governments and companies in smart mobility issues. As a strategy to achieve this objective, RELIEVE seeks to strengthen the collaboration between universities, companies and government entities through the development of joint research projects, scientific dissemination and training of human talent in the field of smart mobility. RELIEVE understands Smart Mobility as the use of information technologies to reorganize the mobility of people and goods in a sustainable way (economically, socially, environmentally).

The Esculea Politécnica de Chimborazo is a higher education institution with legal personality under public law, autonomous, non-profit, and established by Constitutive Law No. 6909, published in Official Register No. 173 on May 7, 1969, and Decree No. 1223, published in Official Register No. 425 on November 6, 1973, which granted its current name. It is headquartered in the city of Riobamba, Chimborazo Province, and operates under the Constitution of the Republic of Ecuador, the Organic Law of Higher Education, its General Regulations, related laws, this Polytechnic Statute, and its internal regulations. Its symbols are the flag, composed of three equal horizontal stripes in red, white, and green; the emblem, enclosed within two circles with red and green borders; and the anthem. Its representative mascot is the figure of a llama (Lamaglama), a South American camelid. Its motto is: "KNOWLEDGE TO BE."
